In sculpting "Grateful Lion" bas-relief sculpture I choose to see the lion in a more gentle view representing him in a moment of softness and grace. Where we see him not as a wild animal, but as a fellow soul on this journey of life on Earth. I hope the viewer feels calm and hopeful when the look upon him.
