One of a kind, our "Whale Lidded Jar" is a work of art. The lid and belly of the teapot were thrown on the wheel from one piece of clay. The whale was later hand sculpted by Lauren and attached. 

The brushed on glazes of the jar are inspired by patterns created by fish scale. The natural color of the pottery that peaks through is reminiscent of the sand on the sea floor.
