"The Bond"

"In this painting and the paintings from this series of 'heart' paintings, I focused on the feeling of the bond between souls regardless of species. It is mostly felt in the heart but also recognized by the third eye. This bond in particular is of my dog, Lola, and me. I found Lola at the Dallas Animal Services aka the pound, when she was 4 months old. She was so scared in there that she was hiding under her cot and know one could find her at first. Lefty, my other soul dog, was there with me, and let me know that she was the one. She came home that day, and more than 10 years later she has been everywhere between White Sands, New Mexico and Key West, Florida!
